JDM Parts Knowledge Center

Practical starting points for identifying a Japanese vehicle and part, checking what a listing actually shows, and sending details that help us review a sourcing request.

Vehicle sourcing guides

These guides explain what to collect before asking about a part. A vehicle name alone does not confirm availability or fitment.

Sourcing fundamentals

Use these existing guides for part identification and Japanese marketplace research:

Real sourcing case studies

Learn how vehicle details and part references shape a sourcing request. Customer examples are shared only after record review and permission.

What to include in a request

When possible, include year and production date, full chassis/frame code, engine and transmission, OEM part number, requested side and quantity, acceptable condition, destination country and postal code, and photos of labels, connectors, mounting points, or the relevant listing.

Send the details you have; incomplete references can still be reviewed. A request does not promise that an item is available, fits, can be exported, or can be shipped to a particular destination. We confirm any match, condition, price, and delivery terms before a purchase.

Start a parts request or use the shop parts-list inquiry for multiple line items.
