CUSTOMER HELP 橋
SHIPPING.
RETURNS. ANSWERS.
International sourcing is rarely one-size-fits-all. Here's what to expect before ordering, while a shipment is moving, and if something goes wrong.
Your approved quote is the starting point. Item condition, shipping method, duties, insurance, timing, warranties and cancellation terms are confirmed for each order. This page is general guidance, not a guaranteed shipping service or a replacement for your Request & Order Terms.
01 / LOGISTICS
SHIPPING & CUSTOMS.
Do you ship worldwide?
We welcome requests from customers worldwide, but not every part or destination is eligible. We check the specific item, import/export restrictions, available carriers and route before accepting an order. Japan-to-U.S. is a primary sourcing route; other destinations, including Sri Lanka, require individual confirmation. U.S.-to-Japan requests are exploratory until logistics are confirmed.
How are shipping charges and import duties calculated?
Packaging, dimensions, weight, destination and the available service affect the price. Your itemized quote identifies known shipping and handling costs, any applicable sourcing fees, what is estimated, and who is responsible for duties, taxes, brokerage and customs clearance. We won't call a charge “included” unless the quoted arrangement actually covers it.
How long will sourcing and delivery take?
Finding and verifying a part can take time before shipping even begins. We will explain the supported ship-by timing and available carrier estimates before payment. Customs processing, supplier delays and transport may affect arrival. If an order cannot ship within an applicable promised or legally required period, we will provide the delay, cancellation or refund choices required by law.
Will I receive tracking or shipment insurance?
Tracking is provided when the selected service makes it available; it may not appear until the carrier accepts the shipment. Cargo insurance is not automatically included on every route. Before approval, we'll explain whether it is offered, its cost, coverage limits and exclusions, and how responsibility for damage or loss is allocated under the agreed terms and applicable law.
02 / YOUR ORDER
RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS.
Can I cancel before the part is purchased?
Contact us as soon as possible. Before a supplier purchase is made, you can request cancellation. A charge for sourcing work already performed would only apply if it was clearly disclosed and accepted beforehand. Your individual written quote explains any applicable costs.
What if I want to cancel or return after purchase?
We review the part's condition, supplier arrangements and the cancellation/return terms you approved. Some special-order or used parts have practical return limits, but Hashi Auto does not apply a blanket “all sales final” rule. Supplier policies never remove rights or remedies required by applicable law.
What if the part doesn't fit my vehicle?
Contact us before installing or modifying it. We compare the supplied year, model, chassis, market, OEM numbers and the compatibility disclosures in your accepted quote. If the delivered part materially differs from the agreed description or our verified fitment representation, we will review the appropriate remedy. When fitment could not be verified, that uncertainty should have been disclosed before you approved the order; mandatory consumer rights still apply.
Are used parts covered by a warranty?
Not every used, discontinued or aftermarket part has a supplier warranty or confirmed testing history. Your quote will identify any verified warranty, its provider, claim process, and known condition details. We do not promise testing, authenticity, performance or road-use legality without supporting information. Warranties and other statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain in effect.
03 / WE CAN HELP
DAMAGE & CLAIMS.
My part arrived damaged or incorrect. What should I do?
Email [email protected] promptly with your request or invoice reference, the problem, photos of the part and packaging, and any shipping-label or tracking details available. Keep the original packaging where practical, and avoid installing or altering a questionable part while we review it. We'll examine the approved description, supplier and carrier evidence, and any applicable remedies.
What happens if a shipment is missing or held in customs?
Send us the reference number and any tracking or customs notice. We'll review the carrier or customs status and the responsibilities listed in the quote, including the importer of record, required documentation and insurance. A customs hold, lost shipment or carrier claim does not erase any refund or consumer rights that apply to the transaction.
Who pays for a replacement, return or refund?
That depends on the verified issue, Hashi Auto's role in the transaction, the agreed order terms, supplier/carrier obligations and applicable law. We will review the evidence and explain the available resolution. We won't treat a supplier's refusal or a pending carrier investigation as a reason to withhold a refund that the law requires us to issue.
How do I get an update on an existing request?
Reply to your Hashi Auto email or write to [email protected] with your request reference. If customer-portal access has been provided for your email address, you can also check your request status. Portal updates are reviewed before publication; they are not payment confirmations or promised delivery dates.
For the full applicable terms and important consumer-rights limitations, read our Request & Order Terms. Your accepted written quote sets transaction-specific details. Nothing on this page limits nonwaivable rights under applicable law.
